Welcome to Baby Bee Photography, Edmonton's Premier newborn photography studio photographing Edmonton and surrounding area families for over 15 years. My goal is to capture every tiny detail of your little miracle, along with the love and connection that make this season so special. It would be an honour to capture these precious memories for you and your family.
I like to make this experience as easy and relaxing as possible so all newborn sessions include everything you need for your new baby. From blankets to bonnets, headbands, props and outfits you needn't bring anything {besides baby}. I also have a few dresses on hand for mom to wear to take the guess work out of preparing.
Once you have decided to book with me I will send over my contract and deposit information - when your session is confirmed I will put your due date in my calendar and then wait to hear from you that your baby has arrived at that point we will schedule your actual session.
I will send you a prep package that includes everything you need to know about your session, with steps to help ensure that baby is as sleepy as possible, a wha - to - wear guide for parents and siblings and many more details. As well, to make this a truly custom experience you will have the opportunity to choose the colour pallet of your session {you can also leave it up to me!}.

NEWBORN SESSION FAQs
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
Anytime after the first trimester is a good time to book! While I always recommend booking in advance of baby's arrival to guarantee a spot you can definitely still reach out to book once your baby is here.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO BOOK A SPOT, SINCE I DON'T KNOW IF MY BABY WILL BE ON-TIME, EARLY OR LATE?
Since babies arrive on their own schedule, I do not book your session until they have arrived. At the time of booking I will put your due date in my calendar and then wait to hear from you that baby has been born so we can schedule your actual session date. I only book so many sessions per month so that my schedule remains flexible for early or late arrivals.
HOW OLD SHOULD MY NEWBORN BE FOR PHOTOS?
Ideally we would do your newborn photos between 7-14 days old however if your baby is already older it is still possible to do photos, contact me to discuss!
CAN I BOOK A SESSION IF MY BABY HAS ALREADY ARRIVED?
Of course you can! I often have last minute openings and would love to hear from you!
DO YOU TAKE A DEPOSIT?
Yes each session has it's own designated deposit amount, that amount comes out of the cost of the session. For example, if you're booking a newborn mini session the cost is $470, there is a $150 deposit that is paid at the time of booking and then the remaining $320 is due the day of the session.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
My in-home studio is located in the Edgemont neighbourhood, exact address is given out at the time of booking.
CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS FROM MY SESSION?
Yes, additional images are available for purchase at a cost of $25 each {this includes a black and white version}. Additional images can easily be chosen within your proofing gallery.
CAN I HAVE ALL OF THE IMAGES FROM MY SESSION?
I do not give out or sell unedited images. The images you receive from your session will be the allotted amount provided with your session.
DO YOU OFFER PRINTS, CANVAS or ALBUMS?
Yes, prints, canvases and albums are all available for purchase. Please inquire for a full pricing list.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS IN STUDIO?
Unfortunately I do not allow pets in studio.
