GENERAL INQUIRIES

DO YOU TAKE A DEPOSIT?
​
Yes each session has it's own designated deposit amount, that amount comes out of the cost of the session. For example, if you're booking a newborn mini session the cost is $470, there is a $150 deposit that is paid at the time of booking and then the remaining $320 is due the day of the session.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
​
My in-home studio is located in the Edgemont neighbourhood, exact address is given out at the time of booking.

CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS FROM MY SESSION?
​
Yes, additional images are available for purchase at a cost of $25 each {this includes a black and white version}. Additional images can easily be chosen within your proofing gallery.

CAN I HAVE ALL OF THE IMAGES FROM MY SESSION?
I do not give out or sell unedited images. The images you receive from your session will be the allotted amount provided with your session.
DO YOU OFFER PRINTS, CANVAS or ALBUMS?

Yes, prints, canvases and albums are all available for purchase. Please inquire for a full pricing list.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS IN STUDIO?
​
Unfortunately I do not allow pets in studio.

WHAT MEASURES HAVE YOU TAKEN TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 WITHIN YOUR BUSINESS?
​
I have made many changes to the way that I run my business in respect to COVID-19, to name a few; I am only seeing at most 1 client per day and spacing sessions as far apart as is possible. I also require that only those actively participating in the session (with the exception of mom and dad) be present in studio during a session to reduce traffic in my space. I have implemented many new cleaning standards to go along with my already stringent cleaning procedures as well as many other improved protocols, please inquire for a full list of my COVID-19 health and safety measures as they pertain to your session.

NEWBORN INQUIRIES
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
​
Anytime after the first trimester is a good time to book! Ideally you would book at least 1.5 - 2months before you are due to ensure a spot.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO BOOK A SPOT, SINCE I DON'T KNOW IF MY BABY WILL BE ON-TIME, EARLY OR LATE?

Since babies arrive on their own schedule, I do not book your session until they have arrived. At the time of booking I will put your due date in my calendar and then wait to hear from you that baby has been born so we can schedule your actual session date. I only book so many sessions per month so that my schedule remains flexible for early or late arrivals.

CAN I BOOK A SESSION IF MY BABY HAS ALREADY ARRIVED?
​
I can sometimes accommodate last minute bookings, it all depends on how many babies have arrived in a given week. If possible it is best to book before baby has arrived to avoid disappointment but please do not hesitate to inquire about my availability if baby is already here.

WHEN WILL MY NEWBORN SESSION TAKE PLACE?
​
The best time to do newborn photos is when baby is between 5-14 days old.
​

MY BABY IS A MONTH OLD, CAN I BOOK A SESSION?
​
Unfortunately I do not offer newborn sessions for babies between the ages of 2 weeks and 4 months. This is because once a newborn is 'older' they no longer sleep as soundly or as much as when they are first born and a lot of studio posing relies on babies sleeping soundly. They also tend to be less flexible making many poses more difficult if not impossible to achieve.

MILESTONE INQUIRIES

ARE THE CAKE & DECORATIONS INCLUDED IN THE CAKESMASH SESSION?
​
Yes, the cake is included in the cost as well as decorations chosen from my gallery of pre-made decorations. If you wish to have a custom 2-3 colour banner made for your cakesmash there is an additional $30 fee.

MATERNITY INQUIRIES

CAN I BOOK JUST A MATERNITY SESSION?
​
I only offer maternity sessions when booked with either a newborn mini or full newborn session. They are only available as an add on.
​
DO YOU OFFER A DISCOUNT FOR BOOKING A MATERNITY AND NEWBORN SESSION TOGETHER?
​
Maternity session pricing is kept low to reflect the fact that it can only be booked as a package item, so there are no further discounts available for booking a maternity session with a newborn session.
​
CAN I BRING EXTENDED FAMILY TO MY MATERNITY SESSION?
​
Maternity sessions are for immediate family only.
​
DO YOU PROVIDE MATERNITY DRESSES?
​
Yes, I have a lovely variety of maternity dresses available for in-studio maternity sessions. Please inquire for details.

FAMILY INQUIRIES

CAN WE BRING OUR DOG?
​
Full family sessions, yes, you are more than welcome to bring your dog!
Mini Family sessions, I do not mind if you bring your dog along as long as you realize that this is a relatively short session, if your dog is really well trained their presence will not affect the session. However if you have a puppy or an untrained dog getting their participation could cut into our shooting time, especially when paired with getting the participation of your toddler or baby. So I will leave this up to you as you know your dog and your kids better than I!

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
​
Once you've booked your session with me I will forward you my prep package that includes a what-to-wear section to help you tackle this age old question. Though do consider that these are your photos and you want them to match your family's style and to look like you. Don't deviate too far from your norm so you don't feel uncomfortable or out of place. And when in doubt reach out to me! If you're stumped on a few outfits I am more than happy to receive a text or email with photos and I will gladly lend my opinion.

CAN WE BRING EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS?
​
For full family sessions you can add up to 4 adult participants at a cost of $25 per person. Beyond that, I do offer extended family sessions which I am happy to give you a quote for. Please email me with the details of your session. As for mini sessions, I'm afraid they are for immediate family only.
